This hotel in the center of Budapest is an incredible find. The value for money is impressive, especially considering the prime location. The building itself has so much character, dating back to the 1800s, and the views from the balcony are simply breathtaking. The staff were attentive and welcoming, even providing a complimentary bottle of Hungarian wine in the room.
All was perfectly fine.

Lovely hotel, really kind personal and the location is perfect. After a cold day you can enjoy warm tea or coffee with cookie or candy.

I iked the entire package deal! All of the above comments are true (regarding the stairs comment, it's not even 10 stairs to the elevator). Central location, nearby subway / tram / bus connections, groceries + businesses, super accomodating team, etc. I usually don't book more than 1 night/location, however I liked it so much I prolonged my stay in Budapest for one week because of this place. The highlight of my vacation!

The hotel is a small enterprise, comfortable and the staff is very friendly. The major negative item is that you get your breakfast outside the hotel, across the street. The location is excellent in the center of Budapest, few meters away of metro station Astoria, and other public transportation means.

This hotel is an excellent value for money, offering affordable prices for a stay in the center of the city. The location is in a very safe neighborhood, surrounded by interesting buildings from the 1800s. The staff is friendly and attentive, even leaving a complimentary bottle of Hungarian wine in the room. The rooms are well-equipped, with basic amenities, and some even have beautiful balconies overlooking the streets.
All was in order, nothing to be improved.

Friendly staff, central location and very cheap prices. Clean and nice standard rooms.
The only thing is that it is hard to find the first time (behind iron gates :), but other than that, awesome!

Fabulous for the money. You walk in to a courtyard and think where on earth have I booked, until following signs to the first floor, where the traditional hugarian building and its tasteful interior modernisation grabs you. Good value breakfast offered in pa.rtnership with local cafe

The hotel's location in the center of the city, in a very interesting building from the 1800s, is a great starting point to explore. The cleanliness of the room was excellent, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Transportation was convenient, with the Astoria underground just a few steps away, and parking facilities were available. Several restaurants and attractions were within a short walk from the hotel. The hotel facilities were well-maintained and the optional breakfast was a convenient and enjoyable choice.
Not one thing.

The hotel was very nice and clean. It is really well situated, just 50 meters form Astoria subway station. Staff are nice and willing to help.
It is hard to find, they should give you better instructions to get there. Other than that, you will not regret your stay.

Friendly and helpful staff - nice rooms with good working Wifi. Close to all main places; and only a few steps from metro Astoria
The hotel is located on the first floor of a large building with several small companies; and apartments. The common entrance of the building, as well as the staircase is rather dark - and some may feel a bit unconfortable. There is no need to worry though - as the rooms and service are great ! Basic breakfast is served in a café on the other side of the street.
